A locovore is a person who eats food that is grown locally. I don't think we have many locovores in New York because is far more difficulty to produce localize food in NYC. Although there may be a few benders that can supply a select population of new yorkers, their resources are not sufficient enough to meet the needs of the vast majority. Therefore, I highly doubt I have been a locovore throughout my lifetime.

  1. True, to find a locavore in NYC is rare. We don't have a vast amount of land to grow crops... intead we have more buildings and roads. But there's gotta be a group that caters to locavores in NYC... we aren't completely incapable of producing local food, right? You have a good point.

  2. I agree with both of you. I'm definitely not a locovore.

  3. it seems as though we have no choice but to be locavores being that we get our oods from earth and no other planet...so to an extent we are a different level of locavore.
